Webmail

Replace the domain digitalfundi.com in these examples with your domain.

This Help File shows you how to:

Web Mail access

You access your web mail from any internet connection by going to www.digitalfundi.com/webmail/

You will be prompted first with a pop-up window titled 'authentication is required'. You can login here, or cancel this window and you get a webmail login page.

Your username is your normal email address with the @, or if that doesn't work replace the at (@) with a plus (+)

You connect either via a system called Horde or one called Roundcube - the choice is yours.

Options before you access email

Before you select a mail client, either Horde or Roundcube, you have various useful options available including

Also available might be: Configure Mail Client (which offers help on setting up your PC), Email Delivery Route, Email Filtering

Choosing between Horde and Roundcube

Both handle your emails, and support folders for storing them in.

Horde has a built in calendar, notes, tasks, news and even a Google search.

Roundcube is a more recent product, with a simpler cleaner interface - probably my choice.

Once you have decided on your Mail Client of choice, note and use the option under either one [ Enable AutoLoad ]. Use this to go straight into your preference.

Options once in your mail client

If you plan to use web mail seriously, please explore the options BEFORE you travel.

Horde

I suggest as a minimum you use options (in main menu on left) and review the “Locale and Time” settings.

Then Select Mail from the left menu, and options from the top, and then you have the mail specific options

Please define your reply-to address, else it will default to a cryptic mailbox address

Roundcube

Go first to Personal Settings (top right)

Start with the right hand tab [Identities] and set your Display name etc.

Then [preferences] to set your time zone, and [folders] to create new folders for storing mail on the server.
