Email Setup

Replace the domain digitalfundi.com in these examples with your domain.

This Help Page shows you how to setup your mail software to access your mailbox.

Note that digitalfundi.com is the overall name for the server that host several domains with their websites, and their mailboxes.

	Setting
Email address	name@digitalfundi.com
Username	Use your email address, replacing the @ with a plus sign e.g. david+digitalfundi.com
Password	Will be provided separately. It is your responsibility to remember your password. If forgotten, it can be reset to a new one.
Incoming mail server	mail.digitalfundi.com
Outgoing mail server	Same as incoming server - mail.digitalfundi.com
Alternatives for outgoing server	Some users have to use their local outgoing mail server. eg, Arusha based people must use Habari, and satellite users may elect to use iway.
Authentication	is Required – set it to use “same as incoming”. (Should be obvious in Outlook, ask if you need more help)
Advanced	Default port numbers are 110 (incoming) and 25 (outgoing). If port 25 is blocked by your ISP, try port 26. Any options for encryption (SSL) should be unchecked. Please do not check the option "Leave a copy of messgaes on the server".
